| Description | The
Autumn Blaze Maple was developed in Ohio and is a hybrid (red and silver maple) tree that has the vigor and adaptability of
the silver maple with the beauty and strength of the red maple. At maturity the Autumn Blaze Maple has an oval to rounded
crown with ascending branches and a well-defined central leader, which makes it a popular shade and ornamental tree. The Autumn
Blaze Maple is very tolerant of dry or wet soil conditions and are very adaptable to a wide range of climate conditions. The
summer foliage is medium green and in the fall the Autumn Blaze Maple develops a brilliant orange-red color. The Autumn Blaze
Maple also has some winter interest because the new branch growth retains a red color after the leaves drop, which lasts until
the following season. | | Growth Rate | 4' Per Year | | Evergreen or Deciduous* | Deciduous (drops it's leaves in the fall) | | Height Mature | 30' | | Width Mature | 20' |
